Summer Makeup Tips

Face Primer. Those few extra seconds in the morning will be worth it once the heat starts up this summer. Face Primer is applied after moisturizer, before foundation. Mahya’s Face Primer leaves skin satiny smooth and helps prepare the surface of the skin for an even application.

Lighten up on the all over makeup application. Just like with your clothes from the winter to the summer, less is more and definitely feels better. Try Mahya’s Tinted Moisturizer, with SPF (alcohol free). When out in the sun, Tinted Moisturizer allows for some skin tone changes as you tan and helps disguise redness and impurities.

Bronze and Shimmer. Bronzer makes your eyes look brighter and your teeth look whiter. Apply a matte bronzer, such as Deep, with Chisel Blush brush starting around the outer sides of the face and down the neck to give the illusion of a long neck, then shading from the earlobe to halfway down to the corner of the mouth giving the face a slender look, lastly slightly darken the two sides of the nose giving it a more pronounced look and bring slight attention the center of the eyes. Everyone looks good with dimensioning. Applying a Shimmery Bronzer such as Caramel is simple, the shimmer catches light, drawing attention to wherever it’s applied, so adding it across the shoulder blades gives the look of a fresh summer tan. “A lil shimmer never hurt anyone, or did it?”

Try a bold color. Pastel and floral prints are in for the summer so why not try a fun flirty color on your eyes! Try Mahya’s Summer Mineral Eye Shadow Kit; including vibrant colors such as Fairy Tale, Sensual, Candy Girl, La Turca, Italian Wine and Sunset, plus Angle Liner/ Chisel Fluff brush. With these summery colors, you’re sure to accomplish a different look every day. Applying them dry or for a more metallic look, apply wet.
