Bridal Makeup Edition: Dressing up February

With different weather each month brings, so should there by eye shadow choices, especially for your special day! This February be the most beautiful bride in town by giving your makeup look the spotlight it deserves. You picked this month to have your wedding day for many reasons, one being the atmosphere it provides. When people think of February, they think of Valentine’s Day, a cold breeze leaving winter, and romance! Great colors that embrace this time of year are pinks, reds, and purples. With much emotional stirring up before, during, and after the wedding, strong durable makeup is needed that will last you all day! The only brand that will accomplish this is one that also requires no irritating touch up’s through out the day either called Mahya Cosmetics. We are a 100% crushed mineral makeup company that believes in loving yourself from the inside out. What better way to shine your beauty on the day that you’re supposed to be truest to yourself and others than by wearing an all natural cosmetic line! It’s so perfect and affordable.

Great colors to enhance who you are and highlight the month and your eyes at the same time are: Silky Pink, Silky Purple, China Rain, and Fairy Tale. These are light colors that are meant for the inner corner of the eyes that can also be applied to the eyelid and just below the eyes as close as possible to the eyelashes.

For the eyelid, stick to something light and neutral such as the following shades: Lilac, Romance, Model, and Faye. These are more suddle colors that offer great color at the same time. They are best used when applied across the entire eyelid up to the crease. These colors also make for great nail or toe nail polish shades! Wow, all in one…but of course!

Next is the time when you can make your eyes sexy, natural, smokey, etc. The next color we love to apply is in the crease. Great colors most often chosen by our users especially for February weddings are: Violet, Elegant, Innocent, and Plum. These give your eyes depth and sophistication. They are darker shades that compliment the eyelid color and make it look like you have years of experience when it could’ve just been your first time applying.

Following the crease color would be the highlighter shade just below the eyebrow. The purpose in putting color in this area is to define your eyebrows and to complete the whole look! Great colors with Mahya Cosmetics to use are: Silky Silver, Nude, Satin, and Golden Light. When deciding which highlighting color to use it depends on which eyeshadow them you decided to go with. For example: If the most vibrant color you used in crease was more gold base than I would use Fairy Tale which is cream based so it would blend in well with a gold eyeshadow you have already selected.

The last step is to define your eye lashes and eyes with eyeliner. This is fun because Mahya Cosmetics have so many different to choose from. If you have a calm look and want to make it a bit more vibrant without going overboard use the following colors: Deep Purple, Twilight, or Italian Wine. If you already have an outstanding look and do not want the eyeliner to overtake what you have so carefully have done, than use colors such as: Auburn, Gothic, Cow Girl, and Ebony. These are more matte and/or earthtone shades that are great for defining without being too extreme.

Putting everything together on such a wantingly perfect day may seem overwhelming however, when it comes to makeup, know that you have the personal assistance of Mahya’s makeup artists to assist you via email or by phone! That’s the best part about Mahya Cosmetics, we truly care about each of our customers and will be there for your every question to guide to the best natural beauty you can be. Enjoy this month to the best of your ability, February 2010 only happens once!
